Residential Programs
The Institute offers six degrees in the Residential Program:
- Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
- Ph.D. in Transpersonal Psychology
- Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology
- Master of Arts in Women's Spirituality
- Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology
These programs emphasize academic study, professional training, and personal transformation through disciplined inquiry into six core areas: intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional, community and creative expression.
A graduate education in transpersonal psychology at ITP focuses on obtaining knowledge of transpersonal theory and the embodiment of transpersonal values in one's life. Both the Ph.D. and the Master's curricula offer whole-person education within a uniquely supportive community. Students in the Transpersonal Psychology Ph.D. Program choose a specialization in Creative Expression, Spiritual Guidance, Transformational Life Coaching, or Research and Education. Choosing a specialization is an option in the Master's Programs and the Clinical Psychology Psy.D. Program, but may require excess units and additional fees.
