President's Diversity Scholarship
As an expression of the Institute's commitment to increasing the diversity of our student population, ITP is pleased to offer scholarships to support entering and continuing students who can demonstrate financial need, will contribute meaningfully to the diversity of the transpersonal community, and possess high potential to thrive within the ITP community.
The purpose of the President's Diversity Scholarship is to assist students in meeting the costs of education, but is not intended to cover the total cost of tuition and attendance. To be given consideration for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must have been accepted into an ITP program, submit a completed President's Scholarship Application Form and materials by June 1st.
Amount: 25% Tuition Reduction for one year
Deadline: June 1st
Eligibility: Incoming students who have been accepted into an Institute program and continuing full-time students may qualify for the President's Scholarship. The awards are need-based with an emphasis on cultural and economic diversity in the student body. This is a one-year award. Continuing students may re-apply annually.
Scholarship Application Requirements
Students wishing to apply for the President's Scholarship must submit a completed scholarship application. Application materials must include:
- Completed President's Diversity Scholarship Application Form
- Cover Letter answering these three questions (2 pages maximum): a) Describe your experience(s) working with diverse populations? b) How does (or will) this prior learning contribute to ITP? c) How will you serve underrepresented populations in the world after ITP?
- Student Aid Report (FAFSA) or Income Verification Form (International Students)

Awarding Aid: Each application will be considered on an individual basis by the President's Diversity Scholarship Committee. Students will be notified of the committee's decision in writing by July 1st.
Receipt of Aid: Scholarships are awarded as a tuition reduction in installments each term.
