Rabbi David Zeller Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Rabbi David Zeller Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established to keep alive the memory David Zeller and to provide financial support to current ITP doctoral students in the dissertation phase.
Eligibility:
In selecting scholarship recipients, the following criteria will be considered:
- Dissertation research related to transpersonal perspectives on peace and conflict resolution (must have an approved proposal)
- Financial need
- Academic Excellence
Application Instructions:
- Complete Application Form (PDF)
- Attach a 4 page description of your approved proposal describing your research and how it is related to transpersonal perspectives on peace and conflict resolution. List your committee members.
- To be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must complete both the application for this scholarship AND the Free Application for Federal Student Financial Aid (FAFSA). Please contact the Financial Aid office (financial_aid@itp.edu) or 650-493-4430 x 241) for more information.
- Student's who do not qualify for FAFSA, please submit income verification.
No applicant is to be given preferential information or treatment by members of the Board of Trustees or the staff of ITP. All applicants will receive the same information about the scholarship and how to fill out the application.

Application Deadline:
All application materials must be received by the Financial Aid Office no later than June 1. This is a firm deadline. Incomplete applications and applications received after this date will not be considered for scholarship aid.
Selection Process:
- Applicants are reviewed by the Scholarship Committee
- All criteria requirements are reviewed
- Applications are prioritized and awarded amounts based on meeting those requirements
Disbursement of Awards:
All applications for scholarship aid will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Applicants will be notified in writing of the Committee's decisions no later than July 1.
All scholarship awards are in the form of tuition reduction applied directly to student accounts in three equal installments in Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters (exceptions to the disbursement guidelines will be on a case by case basis). No cash awards will be made under any circumstances.
Number and Amount of Scholarships:
The amount of scholarships will be determined each year by the Scholarship Committee, depending on available funding.
Application Files:
Once received, applications become the property of ITP. They will be kept on file for one year after the application deadline date. After this time they will be destroyed. Their contents and the Selection Committee's ratings are confidential and will not be released to anyone, including applicants.
