Spotlight on Marilyn Manning, Chair, ITP Board of Trustees

ITP is fortunate to have Dr. Marilyn Manning as the Chair of its Board of Trustees. She is a dynamic and creative leader and a graduate of ITP, having earned her Ph.D. in 1983. For more than 20 years, Marilyn has been a consultant to organizations such as Hewlett-Packard, AT&T, General Electric, VISA, General Motors, United Airlines, Apple Computer, and government and non-profit organizations, helping them resolve difficult strategic and organizational issues. She successfully integrates her transpersonal values with the challenges and needs of the business community, enabling people and organizations to become more effective at resolving conflict, developing leadership, and implementing change.
Dr. Manning is also a professional speaker, and has delivered over 1000 educational and motivational speeches to more than 400 clients. She is a long-time member of the National Speakers Association and has served as the president of its largest chapter. She has also applied her communications skills with her practical experience and research of organizational psychology to write over 50 articles and seven business books, which have been published in eight languages.
Marilyn has served on the ITP Board of Trustees for 11 years this July, working on the Trustee Committee and the Development Committee, as well as instituting board assessment procedures. As the Chair of the Board for the last 2 years, Marilyn has been instrumental in many positive changes, including recruiting many new and highly qualified board members and spearheading ITP's involvement in the Association of Governing Boards. ITP is very grateful to Marilyn for her leadership and hard work.
