ITP Professor William Braud Publishes A New Book
A new book has just been published by ITP Global Programs Professor William Braud, Ph.D. The book is entitled, "Distant Mental Influence: Its Contributions to Science, Healing, and Human Interactions" (Hampton Roads, 2003).
The book includes many of Dr. Braud's research papers that explore persons' abilities to influence--mentally and at a distance through space and time--a variety of processes in other persons who are remotely situated beyond the reach of the conventional senses. Physiological, behavioral, imagery, and cognitive activities are directly influenced through intention and attention. Similar direct and distant mental influences on other living systems such as animals and blood cells also are documented.
The book includes a lengthy, personal Introduction that contextualizes and indicates the transpersonal relevance of this research, and a Foreword by Larry Dossey, M.D., which describes the significance of this work for medicine and for consciousness studies.
