Institute of Transpersonal Psychology Hosts Talk: Tibetan Dream Yoga
Palo Alto, CA The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology (ITP) announced today that Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche, a Tibetan lama and master of the Dzogchen meditative tradition of Tibet, will speak on the topic of Tibetan Dream Yoga:

The event is open to the public and free of charge.
"We are very fortunate to be hosting Tenzin Rinpoche," says Dr. Arthur Hastings, ITP Professor and host of the event. "He is known for his cheerful and clear teaching style, and an ability to make Tibetan practices accessible to Westerners. " A noted master and scholar Tenzin Rinpoche is from the Bon Buddhist school, the oldest Buddhist tradition in Tibet. He has traveled widely, giving teachings in Tibet and in the West since 1988.
Tenzin Rinpoche is the author of The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep, and other books on energy healing, Tibetan shamanism and Dzogchen meditations. He was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities grant for 1994-95 to conduct academic research on the logical and philosophical aspects of the Bon tradition. He appeared on the Discovery Channel in 1994, where he explained the principles involved in Tibetan dream practice as part of Discover Channel's three-part series entitled "The Power of Dreams."
