ITP Library Staff
Katrina Rahn is the Library Director at the ITP Library. She studied art at the University of California, Santa Barbara before going to UCLA to get her Master's degree in Library and Information Science. She has worked in a variety of libraries, including the Zeller Library at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles.

Lucy Erman is the Reference Librarian at the ITP Library (since summer, 2002). Her undergraduate degree is from Vassar College (music major, psychology minor). She also has an M.A. in music from Stanford and a Masters in Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been a part time librarian at the Mountain View Public Library for many years and was also a Reference Specialist for the San Mateo County Office of Education. Her interests include music, dance, theatre, drawing, and painting. If you see her with her nose in a book at lunchtime, it’s probably a mystery or recent science fiction, and she’d love to tell you about it.

Linda Magnusson joined the ITP Library staff in December 2007 as a Cataloging/Reference Librarian. She earned a B.A. from University of California, Berkeley and a M.A. in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. Her hobbies include jamming on the ukulele, feral cat rescue, and reading anything and everything. Her favorite books include A Confederacy of Dunces, and The Giving Tree.

Sharon Hamrick joined the ITP Library staff as a Library Technical Assistant in June 1990. She is in charge of Interlibrary Loan and maintains the ITP Library Periodical Collection. She brings more than 30 years of library experience to her job. She has a Library Technical Assistant Degree from Foothill College. Bring that obscure article or book request to her, and let her try and find it for you. She loves to read; one of her favorite books is Go, Dog, Go! In fact, she has a copy in her office if you would like to read it! She is proud mother of three boys, Keith, Brian, and Stephen. She believes she's an Enneagram number 2 and is an Aquarian. Her favorite color is purple!

Yoko Noda joined the ITP Library staff in Fall, 2004, as Library Circulation Clerk. She was born and raised in Japan. Her long time desire to step into the library world has finally come true. She has an AA degree from San Jose City College and an AA degree in Library Technology from Foothill College. She has also attended San Jose State University. Her favorite things to do are eating out and attending free lectures and author events. Her favorite readings are usually non-fiction. She does volunteer work at the Palo Alto High / Music Boosters Flea Market, once a month, running the Food Booth.

Bing Zuo-Dittmer joined the ITP Library staff as a
Library Cataloging
Specialist in March 2006. She holds a BA degree in
Japanese Language and
Literature from the University of Guangzhou Foreign
Languages in China,
and a certificate in Library Technology from
Foothill College, in Los
Altos, California. Prior to the ITP Library, she
worked for the NASA
Ames Research Center Technical Library as a Library
Cataloging/Acquisition Technician, was a guest researcher at the
Architecture Department at Kogukuin University in
Tokyo, and worked as a
translator at the China Academy of Urban Planning
and Design in Beijing.
She loves cataloging and enjoys reading.
