Finding a job can be a full-time job. Balance is the key to maintaining sanity.
How do you find a job? Here's a hint: Most jobs (75%) are filled before they ever reach the Help Wanted ads.
• Start with your internship, or with former jobs you’ve held in this field. Are they currently hiring? If not now, when? Do they know of anyone hiring?
• Ask people you know who they think might be hiring. Ask teachers, family, friends, mentors, former employers, local business/organizational leaders, etc.
• Locate places you would like to work and try to talk yourself into a job with them.
• Look in the Help Wanted ads: newspapers, online, trade magazines and journals.
• The Five O'Clock Club "America's Premier Career Counseling Network" with great tips on job searching.
• Post your resume online.
