The Institute provides research facilities, academic resources and counseling services that enhance and advance the field of Transpersonal Psychology. Students are given the opportunity to work with faculty and outside investigators on innovative research projects at the William James Center for Consciousness Studies and the Center for the Divine Feminine.
The Institute operates a community-based Transpersonal Counseling Center which serves as a professional training facility for students as well as a counseling resource for the community. The Institute also assists students in finding appropriate field placement to fulfill their program requirements.
Institute faculty are leaders in the field of transpersonal psychology and have written numerous books and articles for publication. We include a reading list of the most current faculty publications, master's theses, and Ph.D. dissertations for you to peruse.
ITP's commitment to quality of instruction and excellence in research is expressed in the Library collection. Library resources are particularly strong in the six areas of the transpersonal educational model: intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical, creative, and relational.
