Scholarships and Financial Aid Links
Here are a few scholarship resources that are available. Remember these three principles of financial aid:
- Free money is better than loans. Look for grants and scholarships at ITP first, then abroad.
- You’ll have to do some work to get the free money. You’ll have to wade through lots of stuff, especially since most Financial Aid material is aimed at undergraduates.
- Don’t pay anyone else to do it for you. You can do it free. Many fee-for-service sites are no better than outright scams. This includes sites that charge to list scholarship opportunities.
Be sure to search the Internet for other resources, as there are many more than are presented here.
Questions? Check with Josie Melton (jmelton@itp.edu), at (650) 493-4430 ext. 241, Monday through Thursday. Please let us know what you find out in your search, so we can pass on the word to others.
